When you contact an agent through BALDUR or save a search, we collect the information you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, and the property or search criteria you are interested in. We also collect basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited) through cookies and standard server logs.
2. How we use it
We use your information only to connect you with a verified local agent for the property or search you contacted us about, to respond to your inquiry, and to send you updates relevant to that inquiry. We do not sell your information.
3. Sharing
Your contact details are shared exclusively with the BALDUR partner agent assigned to the property or area you inquired about. We use service providers (hosting, email delivery, analytics) bound by confidentiality and data-protection agreements. We may disclose information when required by law.
4. Cookies
We use first-party cookies to remember when you have already submitted contact information on a property, so we do not ask you again. We use standard analytics cookies to understand which pages and listings are most useful. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time through the contact form (select "Other" as the topic and mention your privacy request). California residents have the right to opt out of the sale of personal information; we do not sell personal information.
6. Data retention
We retain lead information for as long as needed to complete the transaction you initiated, and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and accounting purposes. After that, your data is deleted or anonymized.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, and limit access to your information to staff and partner agents who need it to serve you. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you and the relevant authorities if a breach materially affects you.
